About the Fellowship role
Peepul’s Strategy and Impact arm acts as an internal engine for program quality, evidence use, organisational learning, and strategic decision-making. Rather than operating as a standalone MEL or analytics unit, the team works across programmes, states, and functions to ensure that evidence, strategy, and execution are tightly connected. The arm plays a central role in shaping how Peepul defines quality, uses data, learns from implementation, and engages strategically with governments, partners, and the wider education ecosystem.
This fellowship role sits within that arm and is designed for a strong generalist who can work across impact, strategy, operations, and partnerships. The Impact and Strategy Manager (Fellow) will be part of Peepul’s internal Strategy and Impact arm and will work closely with senior leadership across programmes, MEL, technology, and partnerships.
The role is integrative by design. The fellow will contribute to improving program quality and impact, strengthening operational enablement, supporting strategic partnerships, enabling effective data use, and institutionalising learning across the organisation. Rather than owning a single vertical, the fellow will work across a small number of clearly defined, high-priority projects that sit at the intersection of strategy, evidence, and execution.

Programme Quality and Impact

Data Analysis and Insights
- Support the translation of data into insights that inform leadership decisions, programme adjustments, and external communication.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with the CAO and other functional leaders to integrate evidence into academic content, programme design, and execution. Act as a connective tissue across teams, helping align priorities and resolve gaps between strategy and implementation.

- Pilot improved quality review and reflection processes with select teams and support their integration into regular leadership and programme rhythms
Institutionalising Learning and Shaping Peepul’s strategic narrative
- Help Peepul better capture, synthesise, and use learning from its work with governments. This will include identifying priority learning questions, working with internal teams to distil evidence and field experience, and translating these into practical internal resources and external-facing assets.
- Support leadership in using these assets in strategic partnerships, donor engagement, policy discussions, and ecosystem forums, and help establish a repeatable approach to knowledge capture and reuse.
Shaping and initiating new state entry
- Support Peepul’s leadership in exploring and initiating entry into one or more new states. This project will focus on early-stage strategy, feasibility, and design rather than full implementation.
