Overview

LGT Venture Philanthropy (LGT VP) is an independent charitable foundation established in 2007. With teams in Switzerland, Sub-Saharan Africa, and India, the foundation strives to improve the quality of life of people facing disadvantages, contribute to healthy ecosystems, and build resilient, inclusive, and prosperous communities. It does this by strengthening the capabilities of locally rooted partner organizations that deliver effective, scalable solutions to systemic problems across the health, education, and environment sectors and that contribute directly to achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The foundation provides flexible, multi-year core funding and builds long-term partnerships to catalyse collaboration and collective impact. In addition, the LGT Impact Fellowship matches experienced professionals with partner organizations to provide them with strategic business expertise. Since 2007, LGT VP has supported 79 organizations and facilitated the matching of over 200 fellows, contributing to improving the lives of more than 17 million people.

About the role

We are looking for a high-potential, all-rounder Associate to join our regional investment team in India, working specifically on scaling LGT Venture Philanthropy’s conservation engagements, including the Blue Oceans Collective, a collaborative initiative focused on scaling community-led ocean and coastal conservation through community-led approaches and catalytic philanthropy.

The role sits at the intersection of strategy, capital mobilisation, research, and execution. You will support fundraising, portfolio management, communications, and knowledge development across marine and coastal conservation initiatives, while engaging with philanthropists, foundations, NGOs, and global partners.

This fellowship offers a steep learning curve, meaningful ownership, and exposure to how large-scale conservation platforms are designed, funded, and governed. It also includes opportunities for field exposure and site visits, engaging directly with partners and communities on the ground. The role is well suited for professionals motivated by impact, preferably committed to building a long-term career in conservation and climate solutions.

Disclaimer:

Please note that while the official LGT Impact Fellowship recruitment window has not yet opened, we are happy to receive and review early applications for this role. Applications shared at this stage will be considered as part of the upcoming fellowship recruitment cycle, subject to the formal 2026 cohort launch and engagement timelines.
