About the Fellowship role
Fellowship location: Mumbai or New Delhi, India
Employment: Full-time, one-year Fellowship
Starting Date: June 2025
Key responsibilities
- Shape the product vision and strategy for ARMMAN’s products. Bring together the needs of beneficiaries and users, the constraints of the health system and stakeholders, and the perspectives of internal teams (program, technology, and content) to define the solution vision
- Translate product vision and strategy to clear roadmaps. Prioritize feature development and drive execution
- Own engagement and impact metrics. Develop and drive key initiatives to deliver desired product outcomes
- Analyze program data to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.
- Conduct regular qualitative user research, through field visits and surveys, to build in the voice of users into the product development process
- Research and review new developments and best practices in the digital health space as well as the latest technologies that can be leveraged for our programs (e.g., AI/ML, LLMs, etc)
Requirements
- 5+ years of product management experience (or equivalent) working with cross-functional teams to build successful software products and services
- Comfort with ambiguity; able to independently identify hypotheses, gather data, structure complex analysis and share findings with diverse audiences
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong empathy
- High level of ownership. Proactive and solution-oriented approach
- Technology enthusiast, with an innovator mindset
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to work effectively in a team
- Willingness and ability to travel for a few days a month
- Well organized, comfortable working with deadlines, adaptable to changing priorities
- Bonus: Previous experience of working in m-health or technology-based public health programs
Must Haves:
- Indian work permit or authorisation to work in India is required
- Must be willing to travel for at least 2-3 days a month
- Must speak English, plus at least one Indian language preferable
