m2m, Partnerships Fellow
About the portfolio organization
m2m provides health care to families who need it most, delivered by women who know them best, across 10 countries in sub-Saharan Africa. We employ local women living with HIV as Community Health Workers to meet the growing and urgent health needs of the communities we serve. These “Mentor Mothers” deliver integrated primary health care services to dramatically improve the health and wellbeing of women, children, adolescents, and special populations. Since 2001, we have reached over 15 million people with life-changing health services and created nearly 12,000 jobs for women living with HIV as frontline health workers.
