About the Fellowship role
QuestAlliance is seeking a Business Finance Specialist.
Location: Bangalore, India

Key responsibilities
- Conceptualize & define indicators of RoI for Organisation, Functions and Programs. Develop financial models to support reviews and analysis and enable data-driven insights for performance measurement and forecast.
- Understand different Program / Function costing structures and help arrive at RoI through financial models to drive operational excellence through deep-dive analytics. Support process improvement and identify issues and propose solutions for managing cost accounting and controlling processes.
- Build analytical frameworks for more efficient, relevant and continuous improvement in reporting and information sharing processes in place to track and monitor finance/ reporting systems. Build processes that augment transparency and improve controls.
- Compile, analyse and build financial models to forecast cash flows and different financial information meant to arrive at the unit costs/ unit costs range for standard program activities. Guide cost analysis process by establishing procedures.
- Develop cost structures for various spaces in Quest Learning Observatory and arrive at internal/external cost charging mechanisms.
- Collaborate and consult with teams to developing financial systems and processes.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis
- Having experience working on developing financial modelling, templates, dashboard and cost structures
- Experienced in preparing financial reports catering to different needs of the organisation
- Must be an analytical thinker with an eye for detail and a probing mind-sets
- Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proficient in Excel
- Success in this position will require collaborating and communicating across different teams and the candidate should be able to work independently
- Indian work permit
